| Body: | I have just spent 30mins on the phone to a doctor at Stowhealth. Until more time has passed it is not possible to know if I have a full blown PTSD, a C-PTSD or “just” an Adjustment Disorder. She wants me to continue working with Steve the mental health nurse, not only to figure the above out but also as it appears to be one of the missing pieces that I have been searching for in order to return to a contributing member of society. However, she does believe that moving me out of the area is detrimental to my health and is writing a supporting letter to prove this. As I know Exposure Based Therapy is one of the ways of dealing with this, I am going to have to make a considerable effort to get back to going back outside, as during the conversation with the doctor we discovered that, without me having realised it, I am, once again, not feeling safe / comfortable going outside. Therefore, I am forcing myself to go to the Post Office now, as I need to take care of something. My plan tomorrow is to visit the local Council Office in Stowmarket, as Helen, one of the other residences whom I have got to know very well, has told me that she and her partner got a lot of important information as to what help is available. As for the issue with the maintenance man here, I have spoken to Shaun about it, discovered that the maintenance man had already spoken about me to him and raised an internal complaint about me. I also discovered that he lied to Shaun about what actually happened. As for the flats I have found, the first viewing date I have been able to arrange is for the afternoon on Wednesday. This is for one of the two flats that look as close as idea as one in my situation could hope to find. And so it begins again. I guess I have to be grateful for the 4 or 5 weeks I have had to rest, and forget about getting anymore until I get this housing issue sorted. Oh well, such is life. As for what happens next with the three of us, I wait to hear from you. |
