CO-OP Deny Autistic Basic Reasonable Adjustment, per The New Care Act, 2015
Today, yet another group of employees from a country wide chain met, quite possibly, the only autistic in the World with the power to express Autistic Discrimination and, far more importunely, given how posh he sounds, use the power of words to ensure that no other autistic needs to feel, at this just this one, another Autistic Pain.
When presented with a situation on Friday 12th June, in the Co-Op in Woolpit, autistic Simon Edgley was faced with Autistic Discrimination. Yet, it wasn’t that which bothered the UK most outspoken advocate for the stopping of torturing autistics.
It was, so Mr Edgley told us early today, knowing what was going to happen. He would stand there for about a minute, remembering that
– THREE Separate Doctors have medically confirmed that Mr Edgley is indeed wheelchair bound
– The Issue, for Mr Edgley at least, is that the size of the Wheelchair changes from minute to word, sentence to something else
– The ACTUAL Issue is that other people either IGNORE or call Mr Edgley A LIAR
Thats right, in the time its taken for Mr Edgley to get diagnosed to now is 14 years. During that time another New Condition has appeared and received universal approval, support and understand.
This Condition even has its own toilets and, simply quite unbelievable, its own type of traffic light.
The Autism Act was passed in 2009 – once again a world leading Law from what was once a World Leading County, England.
Given that if one is homosexual, Trans, Pansexual, Jewish, Person of Colour all ones rights are defined in a, less than a page long, paragraph.
Not if one is autistic, no, if one is The Autism Acts 250 PAGES of documentation, doing nothing more than explaining why Mr Simon Edgley is not lying or hiding behind his disability.
Furthermore, the reading of said document is a LEGAL REQUIREMENT – for whom?
– Your Local Authority / County Council
– Mr Edgley is on record that no one in Mid Suffolk Council claim to have even heard about the Law, never mind read it
– This includes the Council Worker whom decided to inform Mr Edgley that she was the Mother of Two Autistic Children
– The total disgrace is that over THREE YEARS LATER, not one person in the Council has read the autistic documentation
– How do the Council get away with this? Not by the Police, whom Mr Edgley has informed about the Institutional Abuse and have gone one better than Ignore this time
– Suffolk Police and Mid Suffolk Council, when asked to by none other than the MP Dr Peter Princely, combined An Abuse of Power… by denying Mr Edgley his Most Basic Human Right, Legal Protection via a Solicitor
– Which, in its self, is proof of the illegality of the Legally Bounding Agreement Mr Edgley was FORCED to sign and abide by- without reading a single line of the document
– The Police
– The Local School Authority
– The Salvation Army – whom are far more guilty of saying one thing and doing nothing
It is at this point we stop this article, as it is happening in real time. Which means Mr Edgley has to get ready to go back to where he just was.
