Btw, I am arranging to view four flats I have found in the Stowmarket area tomorrow.
All are affordable, all offer immediate or near immediate move in dates.

So you will get your wish of getting the troublemaker out of here asap.
Don’t worry, when ones own parents don’t want you around one becomes used to the concept that nobody will.

As for hours worked?
Every hour that I have the strength to do my duty, irrespective of time, day or holiday.
